Welcome fall! If you don't already know, fall is my favorite time of year. Unfortunately, here in Florida, we don't get to see much of the leaves changing color or feel fall weather, but sometimes we get to feel a light brisk air which makes me a bit ecstatic.
This post will be the first in the series of "Fall Picks". I'm mentioning eyeshadows today, but other days will be blushes, foundations, lipsticks, etc. you get the drift!
I just changed this MAC palette from neutrals to these gorgeous rosey shadows that are perfect for fall. In the palette I have MAC Blanc Type, MAC Naked Lunch, Coastal Scents Mauve, and MAC Cranberry. Let me tell you, if you want cheaper alternatives to MAC eyeshadows, give Coastal Scents a look. Sometimes their eyeshadow pots go on sale for $0.99!!! They are beautifully pigmented and have a wide range of colors to choose from. If I want a particular MAC shade, I will look at Coastal Scents beforehand to see if they have a dupe for the MAC shadow.
L-R: MAC Blanc Type, MAC Naked Lunch, Coastal Scents Mauve, MAC Cranberry
Next up is the Lorac Unzipped palette (reviewed here). Again, it features rose gold shadows, but it also has some browns in it. I bought this palette earlier this year instead of getting the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. In my opinion, I'm glad I chose this one instead because lo and behold, Coastal Scents came out with a palette that is a dupe for UD Naked 3 (look at it here)! I'm telling you, Coastal Scents is amazing!
Top: Undercover, Unbelievable, Unattainable, Unconditional, Unbridled,
Bottom: Undiscovered, Unreal, Uncensored, Unspoken, Untamed
Obviously I will be utilizing other shadows in my collection if I want a specific color such as greys, taupes, etc, but I want majority of my looks to be from these eyeshadow palettes.
