BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits | Champagne Pop and Flowerchild

BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector Mineral Blush Duo in Champagne Pop/Flowerchild.
I bought it at Sephora for $38. (Champagne Pop, 0.13 oz. / Flowerchild (0.15 oz).

Champagne Pop - soft white gold with pinky peach undertones
Flowerchild - peachy pink, golden highlights

Both Champagne Pop and Flowerchild blend beautifully together on my cheeks. The combination of colors that Jaclyn Hill selected work perfectly. Champagne Pop is a limited edition highlighter, but Flowerchild mineral blush is part of Becca's permanent collection.

The packaging is similar to the standard BECCA product, but instead of having a rubberized bottom and outlining, it has a gold bottom and outlining on the lid. Although it is pretty, I feel like it feels a bit cheap because I am use to the standard packaging.

Overall, it is a beautiful product that looks gorgeous on the skin and I would rather purchase the Champagne Splits as oppose to each product separately.

Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme liquid lipstick | PETALE de ROSE

I haven't bought much makeup lately, but when I saw that people were raving about the new Jouer Long-Wear Lip Cremes, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Usually, I don't jump on many lip product bandwagons because I have a few lippies that I hold dear to my heart for every day use (Tarte Hope, Maybelline Warm Me Up, YSL Rose Stiletto).

Every time I see Jouer products pop up on my Instagram feed, I love the simplicity they show and how clean they appear. The packaging is simple, yet beautiful, and I am all about that! These Long-Wear Lip Cremes can be found at www.jouercosmetics.com, and Nordstrom, and they retail for $18 (0.21 fl oz/ 6mL). I looked through all the shades to see which one would be best for me to try out, and I stumbled upon Petale de Rose, and I am so glad I did!

Jouer Long-Wear Lip Cremes:
- Matte finish, yet comfortable wear
- Does not transfer (kiss proof)
- Sweetly scented
- Full coverage
- Very long wearing
(I ate and drank throughout the day, my dog kissed me, and the color was still present, even though it faded beautifully.)

I would describe Jouer Petale de Rose as a cool, dusty rose lip color. In pictures, it appears warmer than it really is, but in person, it is slightly more cool toned.

I looked through my lipstick collection and found either dupes for Petale de Rose or shades that appeared to be in the same family. The products I found were: Stila Patina, Maybelline Warm Me Up, and Tarte Hope. All are matte except for Maybelline Warm Me Up. After the swatches, both Jouer and Tarte appear to be the most closely related. Jouer is full coverage, whereas Tarte is medium coverage, but can be built up to medium-full.

L-R: Stila Patina, Jouer Petale de Rose, Maybelline Warm Me Up, (underneath) Tarte Hope

Have you tried Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme liquid lipsticks? How do you like them?
