The other day, as I was reading other blogs that were reviewing and swatching the new Zoya Naturel Collection, I came across a gorgeous shade, Rue. I loved the color so much that I needed it. So of course, I looked to Zoya's website to find out more information. I, the coupon scrounger when purchasing online, looked up coupon codes for Zoya.com, and came across a "Free nail polish with any purchase." When I found that, I literally jumped up and down in my seat.
Of course, I was being cheap, as I knew shipping would be somewhat pricey, so I looked for the cheapest item on the website. That is when I came across the Zoya Remove Plus nail polish remover. I had heard of amazing reviews for this remover, but didn't think that this polish remover would be better than any other drugstore one. Although it is a "trial/sample" size, at $2 for 1 fl oz, I figured I would give it a try, added it to my cart and placed my order. (In total I paid $8.95, which is great considering a nail polish retails for $9; shipping was $6.95).
But let's get on to what you came here for...
"Zoya Remove Plus is an award winning, gentle, yet highly effective 3-in-1 nail polish remover, nail prep and nail conditioner. Longer nail polish wear starts with Remove Plus."
It was time to remove my nail polish and I figured it would be a great time to test out this remover. I saturated a cotton ball and placed it on my nail as I normally would do. However, with one swipe and a wiggle, pretty much ALL of the nail polish had been removed! I was ecstatic and my mind was blown away at how easy the removal process was. Never had I imagined that removing nail polish would be so simple.
Another thing to note is that this remover does not have the typical "acetone" scent. The bottle says that it is a mild acetone formula, which would make sense as to why the remover smells the way it does. I prefer this because my bathroom won't have the wreaking scent of acetone anymore.
Normally, with regular nail polish removers, my nails and fingertips will feel dry, but not with this new bad boy. My nails do feel conditioned and my fingers don't feel like a desert after using the formula.
Remove Plus does come in different sizes:
- 1 oz for $2.00 (not sure if this is LE as it is a "mini holiday goodie")
- 2 oz for $4.60
- 8 oz for $9.99
- 32 oz for $25
My final thoughts: This is AMAZING and did not think I would be so excited over a nail polish remover! Some people may find it a bit pricey, because let's face it, acetone/nail polish remover at drugstores are much cheaper and you get a lot more product, but I think it is totally worth the money. When I'm done with this mini size, I will most likely be purchasing the 8 oz one as it has a pump dispenser.
Have you tried the Zoya Remove Plus? How do you like it?
I saw the same post and fell in love with Rue. Thanks for posting about this. I've been trying to find a less drying remover. I'll check this out!
