Battle of the Hair Treatments

Since dying my hair blonde, it has been very dry and has split ends! I'm trying to do everything possible for my hair to feel healthy again: soft, non frizzy, and manageable.

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque
Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque is a hair reconstructor that will penetrate and rebuild damaged hair for improved shine and elasticity.
This has been such a hype among the beauty community; many people loved it, while others saw no difference.
Before making a commitment to buying the full size (which quite frankly is expensive), I got the mini pack to test it out. The pack lasted me about 4-5 uses, which is pretty good.
After shampooing my hair, I used this instead of my conditioner and left it on for 7 minutes. Once I rinsed and dried my hair, it felt soft and manageable. Definitely deep conditioned.
This masque is $33 for 8.5oz.
Verdict: I WILL purchase!

Living Proof Restore Mask Treatment
An intensive weekly treatment that nourishes each strand, increasing strength and manageability, leaving hair soft, shiny and smooth.
I got this as a Sephora 500 point perk. After shampooing, I also applied the treatment and left it on for 7 minutes. After rinsing and drying my hair, I felt no difference whatsoever. It felt the same as before, a bit on the dry side. I will use up the sample, but will not repurchase.
This one is the most expensive of the bunch: $42 for 8 oz.

Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment
A rich, velvety balm that dramatically helps repair damaged hair.
This hair treatment is suppose to help repair damaged hair, but it did nothing as well. It starts off in a solid like consistency,  but when you warm it between your hands, it turns into an oil.
For this one, I applied it before washing my hair and let it set for 20 minutes. As I said earlier, it did nothing. Plus, this stuff smells disgusting. Pretty much, I smelled like a smoker, and that was not very pleasant.
This one is $33 for 3.1oz, which in all honesty comes out more expensive per ounce. You get a lot less product for the price.

Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment Plus
Ojon's cult-classic restorative treatment reformulated with a new lighter scent and fortified with Rouge Oleifera
This stuff is suppose to be better at repairing damage, but the results were the same as its sister, the Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment. It does smell better, which is a plus, but the performance is also lacking in this treatment.
It also is $33 for 3.1oz.

Final decision, I definitely want to get the Macadamia Oil Deep Masque Repair, and try the oil also.

1. Favorite Fall lip product?
I love MAC Plumful. This fall is the first time I actually wear lip colors so I can't wait to experiment!

2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish?
For fall, I lean towards wearing darker/vampy colors. My all time favorite fall nail polish is Butter London La Moss.

3. Favorite Fall Starbucks Drink?
Pumpkin spice latte with caramel sauce in it! Best invention ever.

4. Favorite Fall Candle?
Oh my goodness, wear to start? Well I love Bath & Body Works Pumpkin Apple and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin candles. Pretty much anything that smells warm and cinnamon-y.

5. Favorite Fall clothing item or accessory?
                                                  Scarves

Never seen any.

8. Favorite candy to eat on Halloween?
I love eating Snickers, Take 5, Twix, pretty much anything chocolatey with caramel!

The Fall Edit, Ep. 4 | Red Lips

Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss 01
Rimmel Kate Moss 01 was the first red lipstick I owned. Sure, I may have had Revlon Candy Apple lip butter, but I mean a true red lipstick.
I use to be scared of wearing a red lip, but overcame that fear and bought this lipstick earlier this year. I may still be intimidated to wear it, (after all, it's not my go-to style!), but its nice to have a classic red lip.

The Fall Edit, Ep. 3 | Red Nails

I had a difficult time figuring out which red nail polish I should use for this episode. I have several reds: this one, a matte one, a glittery one, and a metallic one. But I chose the Estée Lauder Pure Red nail polish.
This mini nail polish was part of a set that I bought last year that came with 4 Estée Lauder nail polishes. Some were discontinued, like Porcelain, but the others still stand.
I love EL polishes because they glide on so smoothly and evenly and have great coverage. However, I do not like the price tag. Although it is pricy, I definitely think you get what you pay for. If you can, check it out and buy one!

CoverGirl Enhancers Coffee Shop

CoverGirl was probably one of the first makeup lines that I used when I began to wear makeup. It started off with just a face powder, mascara, and lipgloss. Never did I think I would get eyeshadow from them one day.
The only eyeshadow I have used from them so far is the single shadow, Brown Smolder. I use it to fill in my eyebrows, although I could probably go for more of a taupe color. Regardless, the eyeshadow works well.
I bought this CoverGirl 4-quad Enhancers eyeshadow in Coffee Shop because of the warm toned shades. I find that these colors are perfect for the fall season since it has the warm brown, coppery brown, yellow, and pearlescent ivory.
The eyeshadows are pretty smooth and apply nicely. These quads are perfect for when you want a complete eye look in one set. Mine is currently depotted in my $5 DIY Z-Palette (here).
